Our pocket design enables you to easily remove the armor and care for your fabric shells for years of enjoyment. With proper care, our garments can last many years.

NOTE: Instructions for our Lycra and Mesh garments are different than our flannels and jackets. Please see below.

LYCRA AND MESH SHIRTS, PANTS AND SHORTS CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pull the fabric back on the armor pockets to remove the armor. (Note: failure to remove armor may cause damage to the fabric shell.)
  2. Wash fabric shells on a low-temperature setting and gentle cycle or hand wash. Do not dry clean!
  3. White Cool Air Mesh shirts must be washed with white clothes only or by hand. Discoloration due to washing with colored garments, leaving sunscreen on the garment too long or stains are not warrantied.
  4. We recommend using an activewear detergent when laundering your garments to maintain the integrity of the stretch in the fabric.
  5. Do not wash Bohn fabric shells with items that have Velcro®, hooks or accessories that could catch and snag the fabric or with garments that have not been washed before. White garments such as our Cool Air mesh shirt and white Airtex™ shirts should be washed with white items only or hand washed.
  6. Dry shells at a low temperature or best to just hang them dry.
  7. We recommend removing the armor from your Bohn gear from time to time to clean it as detergent residue, salt (including body salt) and moisture can stick to it and could negatively affect the armor.
  8. Armor pieces should NOT be placed in the washing machine or dryer, but may be wiped clean with a damp cloth if they become soiled.
  9. When dry, reinsert the armor pieces into their respective pockets and pull the pocket flaps into place. This ensures the armor will stay in the proper position.

Please NOTE:

  • Our garments are made with Lycra® and must be washed regularly. Salt air and sweat left on the garment can break down the Lycra® in the garment so it is imperative that they be washed regularly and not stored for long periods of time with salt or sweat on them.
  • Pilling can occur if the garment is consistently rubbing against something (i.e., tag, plastic, loose seam, etc.), so please be certain you do not have an overgarment that could agitate the fabric. If you start seeing pilling, turn your jeans, pants, or jacket inside out and feel for the item that is rubbing on your garment.

**Lack of care, pilling of garments, rips, tears, or lingering smells are not covered under our warranty.**

FLANNELS + JACKETS CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Pull the fabric back on the armor pockets to remove the armor. (Note: failure to remove armor may cause damage to the fabric shell.)
  • Spot Cleaning – Use a clean towel/rag and light detergent, rub the spot lightly, air dry.
  • Full Cleaning – Dry clean for best results. You can wash both on delicate cycle in cool water by themselves, but do not put in the dryer. Lay flat to dry. You will need to iron out the flannel as the nature of flannel is wrinkly after washing.
  • When done, reinsert the armor pieces into their respective pockets and pull the pocket flaps into place. This ensures the armor will stay in the proper position.

Please NOTE:
Cotton flannel can begin to sag or look dull if not cared for. If you begin to see the flannel looking saggy, dry clean and it will snap back into its original shape and look brand new.
**Lack of care, pilling of garments, rips, tears, or lingering smells are not covered under our warranty.**

ARMOR CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Cleaning: Remove armor occasionally to clean it. Detergent residue, salt, and moisture can negatively affect it. Do not machine wash or dry armor; wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Recommended Temperature: Store above 55°F (13°C). Avoid bending armor in extreme cold. Warm up armor before use if stored below 50°F (10°C).

Check for wear and tear: Inspect armor periodically for cracks, dryness, or brittleness, especially after 5–10 years. Cracking is not warrantied.

INSTRUCCIONES DE CUIDADO PARA CAMISETAS, PANTALONES Y SHORTS DE LYCRA Y MALLA:

  1. Tire del tejido en los bolsillos de protección para quitar las protecciones. (No hacerlo puede dañar la cubierta de tela.)
  2. Lave las cubiertas de tela a baja temperatura en ciclo delicado o a mano. ¡No limpiar en seco!
  3. Las camisetas blancas de malla Cool Air deben lavarse solo con ropa blanca o a mano. La decoloración por lavar con prendas de color, dejar protector solar sobre la prenda demasiado tiempo o las manchas no está cubierta por la garantía.
  4. Recomendamos usar un detergente para ropa deportiva para mantener la elasticidad del tejido.
  5. No lave las cubiertas de tela Bohn con artículos que tengan Velcro®, ganchos o accesorios que puedan enganchar la tela ni con prendas que no se hayan lavado previamente. Las prendas blancas como nuestra camiseta Cool Air de malla y las Airtex™ blancas deben lavarse solo con prendas blancas o a mano.
  6. Seque a baja temperatura o, mejor, cuélguelas para que se sequen al aire.
  7. Recomendamos quitar las protecciones de su equipo Bohn de vez en cuando para limpiarlas, ya que los residuos de detergente, la sal (incluida la del cuerpo) y la humedad pueden adherirse y afectar negativamente a las protecciones.
  8. Las piezas de protección NO deben colocarse en la lavadora ni en la secadora; límpielas con un paño húmedo si se ensucian.

INSTRUCCIONES DE CUIDADO PARA FRANELAS Y CHAQUETAS:

  • Tire del tejido en los bolsillos de protección para quitar las protecciones. (No hacerlo puede dañar la cubierta de tela.)
  • Limpieza de manchas: use una toalla/trapo limpio y detergente suave, frote ligeramente y deje secar al aire.
  • Limpieza completa: limpieza en seco para mejores resultados. Puede lavar en ciclo delicado con agua fría por separado, pero no use secadora. Déjelo secar en plano. La franela suele arrugarse tras el lavado, por lo que puede requerir planchado.
  • Al terminar, vuelva a insertar las protecciones en sus bolsillos y coloque las solapas para asegurar la posición correcta.

Tenga en cuenta:
La franela de algodón puede ceder o verse apagada sin el cuidado adecuado. La limpieza en seco restaura su forma y aspecto originales.

Durch unser Taschendesign lassen sich die Protektoren leicht entnehmen, sodass Sie die Stoffhüllen pflegen und viele Jahre Freude daran haben. Bei richtiger Pflege halten unsere Kleidungsstücke viele Jahre.

HINWEIS: Anweisungen für Lycra- und Mesh-Bekleidung unterscheiden sich von denen für Flanellhemden und Jacken. Bitte siehe unten.

PFLEGEHINWEISE FÜR LYCRA- UND MESH-HEMDEN, HOSEN UND SHORTS:

  1. Ziehen Sie den Stoff an den Protektorentaschen zurück, um die Protektoren zu entnehmen. (Das Nichtentfernen kann die Stoffhülle beschädigen.)
  2. Stoffhüllen bei niedriger Temperatur im Schonwaschgang oder per Hand waschen. Nicht chemisch reinigen!
  3. Weiße Cool-Air-Mesh-Hemden nur mit weißer Wäsche oder per Hand waschen. Verfärbungen durch farbige Wäsche, zurückgelassene Sonnencreme oder Flecken sind nicht von der Garantie abgedeckt.
  4. Zur Erhaltung der Dehnbarkeit empfehlen wir ein Sportwaschmittel.
  5. Nicht zusammen mit Artikeln mit Klettverschluss, Haken oder Accessoires waschen, die den Stoff einhaken könnten, oder mit ungewaschener Kleidung. Weiße Teile (z. B. unser Cool-Air-Mesh-Shirt und weiße Airtex™-Shirts) nur mit Weißwäsche bzw. per Hand waschen.
  6. Bei niedriger Temperatur trocknen oder am besten an der Luft aufhängen.
  7. Protektoren gelegentlich entnehmen und reinigen; Waschmittelrückstände, Salz (auch Schweiß) und Feuchtigkeit können haften und die Protektoren beeinträchtigen.
  8. Protektoren NICHT in Waschmaschine oder Trockner geben; bei Verschmutzung mit feuchtem Tuch abwischen.
  9. Nach dem Trocknen Protektoren wieder in die jeweiligen Taschen einsetzen und Taschenklappen glattziehen, damit sie richtig sitzen.

Bitte beachten:

  • Unsere Kleidung enthält Lycra® und muss regelmäßig gewaschen werden. Salzluft und Schweiß zersetzen Lycra®, wenn sie auf dem Kleidungsstück verbleiben; lagern Sie es nicht lange ungewaschen.
  • Pilling kann entstehen, wenn das Kleidungsstück dauerhaft an etwas reibt (Etikett, Kunststoff, grobe Naht usw.). Bei Pilling Kleidungsstück innen prüfen und Reibstelle beseitigen.

**Mangelnde Pflege, Pilling, Risse/Einrisse oder anhaltende Gerüche sind nicht von der Garantie umfasst.**

PFLEGEHINWEISE FÜR FLANELL & JACKEN:

  • Stoff an den Protektorentaschen zurückziehen und Protektoren entnehmen. (Nichtentfernen kann die Stoffhülle beschädigen.)
  • Fleckentfernung – Mit sauberem Tuch und mildem Waschmittel leicht reiben, an der Luft trocknen.
  • Komplettreinigung – Für beste Ergebnisse chemisch reinigen. Alternativ separat im Schonwaschgang mit kaltem Wasser waschen, nicht in den Trockner geben. Flach trocknen lassen. Flanell muss ggf. gebügelt werden, da er nach dem Waschen knittern kann.
  • Nach dem Trocknen Protektoren wieder einsetzen und Taschenklappen schließen, damit die Position erhalten bleibt.

Bitte beachten:
Baumwollflanell kann ohne Pflege ausleiern oder matt wirken. Eine chemische Reinigung stellt Form und Optik wieder her.
**Mangelnde Pflege, Pilling, Risse/Einrisse oder anhaltende Gerüche sind nicht durch die Garantie abgedeckt.**

PFLEGEHINWEISE FÜR PROTEKTOREN:

Reinigung: Protektoren gelegentlich entnehmen und reinigen. Waschmittelrückstände, Salz und Feuchtigkeit können schaden. Nicht maschinell waschen oder trocknen; mit feuchtem Tuch abwischen.

Empfohlene Temperatur: Über 55 °F (13 °C) lagern. Biegen bei extremer Kälte vermeiden. Vor Gebrauch erwärmen, wenn unter 50 °F (10 °C) gelagert.

Verschleiß prüfen: Regelmäßig auf Risse, Trockenheit oder Sprödigkeit prüfen, besonders nach 5–10 Jahren. Rissbildung ist nicht garantiefähig.

La conception de nos poches permet de retirer facilement les protections et d’entretenir les coques en tissu pour en profiter pendant des années. Avec un bon entretien, nos vêtements peuvent durer de nombreuses années.

REMARQUE : Les instructions pour nos vêtements en Lycra et en maille diffèrent de celles pour nos chemises en flanelle et nos vestes. Voir ci-dessous.

INSTRUCTIONS D’ENTRETIEN POUR CHEMISES, PANTALONS ET SHORTS EN LYCRA ET EN MAILLE :

  1. Tirez le tissu au niveau des poches pour retirer les protections. (Ne pas retirer peut endommager la coque en tissu.)
  2. Lavez les coques en tissu à basse température en cycle délicat ou à la main. Ne pas nettoyer à sec !
  3. Les chemises blanches Cool Air Mesh doivent être lavées uniquement avec du linge blanc ou à la main. Les décolorations dues au lavage avec des vêtements colorés, au fait de laisser de la crème solaire trop longtemps ou aux taches ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie.
  4. Nous recommandons un détergent pour vêtements de sport afin de préserver l’élasticité du tissu.
  5. Ne lavez pas les coques en tissu Bohn avec des articles comportant du Velcro®, des crochets ou des accessoires susceptibles d’accrocher le tissu, ni avec des vêtements non prélavés. Les vêtements blancs (comme notre chemise Cool Air Mesh et les chemises Airtex™ blanches) doivent être lavés uniquement avec du linge blanc ou à la main.
  6. Séchez à basse température ou, idéalement, suspendez-les pour un séchage à l’air libre.
  7. Retirez de temps en temps les protections pour les nettoyer : les résidus de détergent, le sel (y compris la sueur) et l’humidité peuvent s’y fixer et les altérer.
  8. Les protections ne doivent PAS être passées en machine ni au sèche-linge ; nettoyez-les avec un chiffon humide en cas de salissure.
  9. Une fois sèches, réinsérez les protections dans leurs poches respectives et rabattez les rabats. Cela garantit leur bon positionnement.

Veuillez NOTER :

  • Nos vêtements contiennent du Lycra® et doivent être lavés régulièrement. L’air salin et la sueur laissés sur le vêtement peuvent dégrader le Lycra® ; ne conservez pas des vêtements souillés pendant longtemps.
  • Le boulochage peut survenir si le vêtement frotte constamment contre un élément (étiquette, plastique, couture rugueuse, etc.). Si vous observez des bouloches, retournez votre jean/pantalon/veste pour identifier la zone de frottement.

**Le défaut d’entretien, le boulochage, les déchirures ou les odeurs persistantes ne sont pas couverts par notre garantie.**

INSTRUCTIONS D’ENTRETIEN – FLANELLES & VESTES :

  • Tirez le tissu au niveau des poches pour retirer les protections. (À défaut, la coque en tissu peut être endommagée.)
  • Nettoyage localisé : chiffon propre + détergent léger, frotter délicatement, séchage à l’air.
  • Nettoyage complet : nettoyage à sec recommandé. Lavage délicat à l’eau froide possible (séparément) mais sans sèche-linge. Sécher à plat. La flanelle peut nécessiter un repassage car elle se froisse.
  • Après séchage, réinsérez les protections et rabattez les rabats pour assurer la bonne position.

Veuillez NOTER :
La flanelle de coton peut se détendre ou ternir sans entretien approprié. Un nettoyage à sec lui rend sa forme et son aspect d’origine.
**Le défaut d’entretien, le boulochage, les déchirures ou les odeurs persistantes ne sont pas couverts par la garantie.**

INSTRUCTIONS D’ENTRETIEN DES PROTECTIONS :

Nettoyage : Retirez périodiquement les protections pour les nettoyer. Les résidus de détergent, le sel et l’humidité peuvent les altérer. Ne lavez ni ne séchez en machine ; essuyez avec un chiffon humide.

Température recommandée : Stocker au-dessus de 55 °F (13 °C). Éviter de plier les protections par grand froid. Réchauffer avant usage si stockées sous 50 °F (10 °C).

تعليمات العناية بقمصان وبناطيل وشورتات الليكرا والشبكة:

  1. اسحب القماش عند جيوب الدروع لإزالة الدروع. (عدم الإزالة قد يسبب تلفًا لغطاء القماش.)
  2. اغسل أغطية القماش على درجة حرارة منخفضة وبوضع الغسيل اللطيف أو يدويًا. لا تنظف تنظيفًا جافًا!
  3. يجب غسل قمصان الشبكة البيضاء Cool Air مع الملابس البيضاء فقط أو يدويًا. تغيّر اللون بسبب الغسل مع الملابس الملوّنة أو ترك واقي الشمس مدة طويلة أو البقع غير مشمول بالضمان.
  4. نوصي باستخدام منظف مخصص للملابس الرياضية للحفاظ على مرونة القماش.
  5. لا تغسل أغطية قماش Bohn مع قطع تحتوي على فيلكرو® أو خطافات أو إكسسوارات قد تعلّق بالقماش، ولا مع ملابس غير مغسولة مسبقًا. يجب غسل القطع البيضاء مثل قميص Cool Air الشبكي وقمصان Airtex™ البيضاء مع الملابس البيضاء فقط أو يدويًا.

  • ملابسنا مصنوعة من Lycra® ويجب غسلها بانتظام. يمكن للهواء المالح والعرق المتروك على الملابس أن يضعف Lycra®؛ لذا تجب العناية والغسل بانتظام وعدم التخزين لفترات طويلة وهي ملوّثة بالعرق أو الملح.
  • قد يظهر الوبر إذا احتكّت الملابس بشكل متكرر بعنصر يسبّب احتكاكًا (بطاقة، بلاستيك، درز خشن…). إذا لاحظت الوبر، اقلب البنطال أو السترة وتفحّص مصدر الاحتكاك.

**الإهمال في العناية، وتكوّن الوبر، والتمزقات أو الروائح العالقة غير مشمولة ضمن الضمان.**

تعليمات العناية بالفلانيل والسترات:

  • اسحب القماش عند جيوب الدروع لإزالة الدروع. (عدم الإزالة قد يسبّب تلفًا لغطاء القماش.)
  • تنظيف موضعي — استخدم قطعة قماش نظيفة ومنظفًا خفيفًا، افرك بلطف واتركه ليجف في الهواء.
  • تنظيف كامل — يُفضَّل التنظيف الجاف لأفضل النتائج. يمكن الغسل برفق بالماء البارد بشكل منفصل، لكن لا تستخدم المجفف. اترك القطعة لتجف على سطح مستوٍ. قد تحتاج إلى كيّ الفلانيل لأنه يتجعّد بعد الغسيل.
  • بعد الانتهاء، أعد إدخال قطع الدروع وأعد ألسنة الجيوب إلى مكانها لضمان ثبات الوضع.

يرجى الملاحظة:
قد يترهّل قماش الفلانيل القطني أو يبدو باهتًا عند إهمال العناية. التنظيف الجاف يعيد له شكله ومظهره كالجديد.
