When my Bohn armoured shirt was stolen on a recent trip I looked at every alternative I could find. I ride a dual sport bike and my off roading is Forest Service Roads and some mild trails but mostly on road riding. Although offering excellent products companies like Alpinestars or Fox Racing, they look too ”RoboCop” for my needs. Bohn Adventure Shirt offers most of the protection of these other products (and the full CE 2 rating exceeds most of these products) , yet fit unobtrusively under my jacket when we stop for coffee or whatever… In the 8 years I have been riding I have always trusted Bohn products to keep me safe. Received my fannel jacket, It looks and fits great I really like the yellow color for visibility when riding.
Very comfortable, even in HOT weather (+90-deg). Pads are so thin they 'disappear'. I'm very pleased.

For reference I'm 6ft3 300 lbs with a 50 inch waist ( 52 inch gut🤣🤣) and the 4XL fits perfectly. I like this coat so much I bought the black one soon afterwards and plan on wearing either even when not on my motorcycles. Job well done Bohn Armor!!
Recently took off on. a 250 mile ride through East Tennessee and SouthWest Virginia in 95 degree sticky humid weather. My Airtex Armored Motorcycle Shirt (White and Blue) is a game-changer! It felt awesome knowing I had my upper torso impact vulnerabilities covered (normally covered with my jacket) with a whole lot less heat stress. It is simply an outstanding, high quality product. Proper sizing matters so if you have questions or are on the fence, just save yourself the time and contact Ed and Kristen (they welcome your questions) - their riding knowledge (yes, they ride), professionalism and exceptional customer service is unmatched and they'll fit you out perfectly.
Over all these are pretty good. The only thing I'd suggest is that they make the hip, thigh and trail bone armour larger. I am also looking forward to the day when they add in kevlar or something to offer skid protection..

Bohn armor pants are easy to use and comfortable. They are unobtrusive and work well on warm or cool days. I use them both on the road and off.
Finally found lower half protective gear that fits me! As someone that's all torso and no legs, it was impossible to find motorcycle pants or riding jeans that even in their "short" length wouldn't have the knee protection down at my shins. This pair Bohn gear makes it so I'm fully protected and can wear whatever pants I want over it. Very happy with my purchase so far on the first 6 or so rides with it.

Great product. With the level 2 CE armor and mesh material, I feel protected while getting good airflow and not worry about the armor shifting while riding or in the event of an accident 👍👍

My armored shirt has been a welcome relief in the Texas Gulf Coast heat and humidity.
Fits great and the quality feels great. I’m a large but it was to small. I contacted company to return for an extra large. When the return was received they sent out the extra large jacket swiftly. Turn around time for new jacket was exceptional.
Fits well and is comfortable. Great quality garment. These make my existing leather pants more protective. Great customer service as well!

I love my Airtex shirt! It’s breezy in this current stifling heat/humidity. I love the fit too. I was skeptical about the size chart suggestion because it suggested a size smaller than I usually wear. I did reach out to customer service to consult about sizing. Kristen was nice, responded quickly, and confirmed what the size chart suggested. My shirt shipped quickly and it fit perfectly! I’ve worn it over shirts and also under big t shirts. It’s more snug, which is different from my usual jacket but it keeps the pads in place nicely! I would definitely recommend the shirt and the company. Trust the size chart but reach out if you need/want to. They’ll get you right.

I've worn this a few times here in the southeastern USA summer - hot and humid. Airflow was great! The shirt fits well and keeps the protection in place... worn under a jersey and it works out very well!
Uncommon customer service. The owner herself returned my call at 9pm her time to answer my questions and help get me fitted. She was right on about the sizing, and im blown away woth the small business service. She even saved me a fee dollars by directing me to a less expensive top. The product itself is top notch. Small business at its finest.

I like the protection of these, well place armor pads and once they have been on a few minutes you dont even know they are there. Had a slide out on the McGruder last week and din’t even get a raspberry on my hip. The downside is they are pretty warm, like most protection. I call them my dirt bike nylons. The zippers are a bit finicky (especially on the shirt) and the nylon type material is pretty warm. The material on the Bohn shirt I like better. The zipper at the calves is pretty tight so if you have big calves you may have issue. Honestly, five stars if the zippers worked better. Wore these for three days straight on a 500 mile BDR ride, Beta 500RS

I needed something lighter with better air flow And armor . I live in TEXAS the summer heat is brutal . Riding without armor is not something I want to do anymore , not as young as I once was . These Shirts fit the bill nicely , easy to put on and get off with the zipper front . They are well worth the price !

Very comfortable in Texas summer weather. Used this instead of armor that came with armored shirt. Also put in the blue shoulder armor. I also cut the black sheet for elbow and forearm. Shirt is thinner and less power ranger look.
A great choice that I’m glad I went with! I have similar shoulder and elbow pads that came with my Pando UH 03 shirt and wanted the same for the back. Big plus that it doesn’t cost a few limbs. It’s thin and flexible without feeling like a portable sauna on my back and is a perfect fit in my Pando shirt as well.
The Bohn Airtex shirt is all it claims to be. It works great in hot and humid conditions while providing the armored protection. Great product..
