PerfectNice! Fairly thick and smooth. Fits well. I use it both for under my helmet and to wear when my hair's wet to keep it in place now that I am growing my hair out (what's left of it). Better price than getting big sports company name item at a sporting goods store (to wear under a football helmet).

Good product for hot or cold.Fit is very good. Materials a good too. Good for hot or cold weather when worn with a motorcycle helmet,
    Two small issues.
    1. "Bohn" tab with logo is bothersome. It is sewn on right side and sometimes catches under helmet. I cut mine off - so no biggie.
    2. After 5 months of wear, sewn seam around head is fraying. Has not broken thread or come loose, but it is showing wear.

No regrets; it's good for what it claims to beI have always had issues with finding hats that fit my giant head my entire life, I wear a XL helmet, and this thing fits my head just fine. Earbuds, this thing, and my helmet, and I'm ready to roll. It also helps a lot to reduce wind and road noise, and helps keep my head warm on cold rides. No regrets on this purchase, covers everything I was hoping for.

No itching "helmet head" --rode in 106 degree weather----- soaked it with water --keep my head cool for at least 30 minutesVery surprised at the comfort. No itching "helmet head" --rode in 106 degree weather----- soaked it with water --keep my head cool for at least 30 minutes. I am very surprised with the comfort and I do like it. Make sure and not have the end seam/edge between you and your helmet-lining----created a pressure point for me --when I changed it --worked very well.

Cool and comfortable to keep your helmet cleanI am late in writing this review. I purchas two of these fine helmet liners at least 6 months ago and they are the best fitting, most comfortable helmet liners that I have had. Prior to this I had been purchasing skull caps from my local PX on base and they were fine, but the sewn in seam always left a mark on my forehead. The Bohn liners don’t leave a mark and are cool and comfortable worn under my motorcycle helmet.

An improvement over my old cap, recommend stronglyI used a Schampa Coolskin for a few years and while it DID keep my head comfy, the broad seam right down the middle left a rather large (and sometimes painful) line right down the middle of my forehead. :( This Bohn Skull Cap is a much better item, and I wish I'd found it first. The material is thin on the top, and lets sufficient airflow through to keep my scalp cool on hot Virginia days. The side panel material is soft, absorbent and comfy. Keeps me dry in the summer, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it handles winter riding.

This is my favorite and most used skull capThis is my favorite and most used skull cap. I commute 4x/week by bike 26 mi round trip, pretty much year round. I bought my first one a couple years ago and just purchased a second to help with laundry rotation. The first one has received a lot of use and the stitching and fabric is in like new condition. I've collected 3 different kinds of skull caps. The other two I hardly ever use. They are heavier material and cover more of my face and neck. When it's cold enough to consider using one of them I'm also considering my baclava. So generally I use a thin material sweat band on hot to warm days, this cap on cool to cold days, and a baclava on the coldest of days. Best features:

    - Well constructed.

    - Fits well (gotta put it on right -- the Bohn tag lands just behind the right earlobe). Perfectly horizontal in the front above the eyebrows and covers the ears to the base of the earlobes, at least on my head. Plenty warm yet so thin it fits easily under my helmet.

    - Keeps sweat out of my eyes even when it's totally saturated with sweat.

    - Wide temp usage range. For me, up to about 60 F down into the 20's.
