Bummer that the shirt seems loose. The shirts are based on standard US sizing and are not "generous" sizing like many companies in the US.
Did you order the same size that you had in our shirt before? What is your current chest measurement?

Haven’t ridden too many miles in them yet but much more comfortable than my previous armor setup. Rode in high 80 degree temps with high humidity and they were more breathable than I imagined they would be. I forgot I had them on while riding! I went by the sizing guide for myself and my wife and both pairs fit well. I”m 5’ 11” with a 32” waist and purchased a medium. I did not experience any movement in the armor while wearing them under Klim’s Dakar ITB pant. I would recommend giving them a try.

Thank you for your 1-star review. It is me (Kristen), the owner, that you spoke with.
I (we) completely understand the frustration — trust us, no one wants these back in stock more than we do! Full disclosure... we've been out of stock for months on sizes that are honestly our bread and butter during the summer. It's been hard for us, but more than that, we just want our customers to stay safe and cool when they ride, so it's been hard on them.
What customers don’t always see is what has been happening behind the scenes. So, I may as well lay it out, since you are not the only customer who is frustrated.
After our longtime AMAZING sewing partner in Oregon retired after 28 years, we kept fighting to manufacture our products here in the USA rather than simply moving production overseas. That has turned out to be a much bigger — and much more expensive and lengthy — undertaking (or disaster, whichever way your sun shines) than we ever anticipated.
We’ve spent a significant amount of money onboarding a new U.S. sewing partner, adjusting patterns, producing samples, sourcing materials and getting production established. It has taken MUCH longer than expected––turns out our products are kinda tricky to sew––and unfortunately, after that investment was made, some of the pricing, processes, timelines, and expectations we originally agreed upon changed rather dramatically (to the tune of a 386% increase in manufacturing cost for our product. No, that is not a typo.). We’ve been working through all of this in real time while trying very hard not to pass those problems — or enormous cost increases — directly on to our customers.
So yes, when we spoke, early September was genuinely our best estimate based on the information we had at the time. It’s September 15th and we’re behind that estimate, which is frustrating for you and incredibly frustrating for us.
But I promise you, there has definitely not been “nada” happening over here. 😉 Quite the opposite. We’ve been moving mountains — and spending a small fortune — trying to get Bohn inventory flowing again while keeping these products made in America.
We truly appreciate everyone who has hung in there with us. We’re a small business and we’ve been doing this for nearly 30 years, and this has been one of the most challenging production transitions we’ve ever navigated. We WILL get through it, and we’re working every day to get those shelves filled again.
Timeline? If you've been waiting on an L or XL Cool-Air shirt in black, your 1-star review is quite timely. They will actually be here in the next 2-3 days. We'll be putting it in stock once it hits the warehouse floor.

I used to have armor in all my jackets but it never fit very well. Now I wear this shirt with all my jackets and my armor stays in place exactly where it should. If you are concerned about it being too warm, there really is no difference. Highly recommend!
Fits beautifully, great airflow and CE level 2. When on road, I pair it with a Klim Dakar (shell) jacket for extra abrasion protection. Perfect ADV setup in my opinion.
Finally got a chance to try the new leggings(?) and loved them. Basically, felt protected without knowing they were there, best I could ask for.
Highly recommend and great assistance with ordering the correct size.

As advertised. Breathable, comfortable, fits well. Protection? Don’t know: not deliberately crashing to find out.
No comparable undershirt though which is unfortunate. I’d get that too if Bohn made one.
It's impossible to over-state how much I love your mesh shirt. It allows me to ride in weather I would otherwise be sitting in front of an air conditioner.
These shorts are comfortable and though I've only had them a short while, they seem to be holding up me. There is extensive armor coverage which is why I bought them. The armor is a little loose but for the most part stays where it's supposed to, unlike m y armored jeans where the armor never seemed to be covering what it was supposed to cover. The mesh does help a great deal on the balmy days. I also like that it has multiple armor pieces beyond "just" hip coverage. Unfortunately occasional it does shift and it doesn't always cover the most at risk bony prominences. I would buy again but might consider sizing down to help keep it in place better. I'm 5'10" with a 36 Waist and bought a large. I wear it over UnderArmor Heat Gear.
The pictures do not do it justice. This is a very very tough jacket, not light weight, heavy and will protect very well. Maximum protection, full Kevlar (not just in spots), CE 2 pads, solid buttons and zippers. I shopped everywhere in USA and abroad.

When my Bohn armoured shirt was stolen on a recent trip I looked at every alternative I could find. I ride a dual sport bike and my off roading is Forest Service Roads and some mild trails but mostly on road riding. Although offering excellent products companies like Alpinestars or Fox Racing, they look too ”RoboCop” for my needs. Bohn Adventure Shirt offers most of the protection of these other products (and the full CE 2 rating exceeds most of these products) , yet fit unobtrusively under my jacket when we stop for coffee or whatever… In the 8 years I have been riding I have always trusted Bohn products to keep me safe.

For reference I'm 6ft3 300 lbs with a 50 inch waist ( 52 inch gut🤣🤣) and the 4XL fits perfectly. I like this coat so much I bought the black one soon afterwards and plan on wearing either even when not on my motorcycles. Job well done Bohn Armor!!
Recently took off on. a 250 mile ride through East Tennessee and SouthWest Virginia in 95 degree sticky humid weather. My Airtex Armored Motorcycle Shirt (White and Blue) is a game-changer! It felt awesome knowing I had my upper torso impact vulnerabilities covered (normally covered with my jacket) with a whole lot less heat stress. It is simply an outstanding, high quality product. Proper sizing matters so if you have questions or are on the fence, just save yourself the time and contact Ed and Kristen (they welcome your questions) - their riding knowledge (yes, they ride), professionalism and exceptional customer service is unmatched and they'll fit you out perfectly.
Over all these are pretty good.
The only thing I'd suggest is that they make the hip, thigh and trail bone armour larger.
I am also looking forward to the day when they add in kevlar or something to offer skid protection..
Finally found lower half protective gear that fits me! As someone that's all torso and no legs, it was impossible to find motorcycle pants or riding jeans that even in their "short" length wouldn't have the knee protection down at my shins. This pair Bohn gear makes it so I'm fully protected and can wear whatever pants I want over it. Very happy with my purchase so far on the first 6 or so rides with it.
Great product. With the level 2 CE armor and mesh material, I feel protected while getting good airflow and not worry about the armor shifting while riding or in the event of an accident 👍👍

My armored shirt has been a welcome relief in the Texas Gulf Coast heat and humidity.
Fits great and the quality feels great. I’m a large but it was to small. I contacted company to return for an extra large. When the return was received they sent out the extra large jacket swiftly. Turn around time for new jacket was exceptional.
I love my Airtex shirt! It’s breezy in this current stifling heat/humidity. I love the fit too. I was skeptical about the size chart suggestion because it suggested a size smaller than I usually wear. I did reach out to customer service to consult about sizing. Kristen was nice, responded quickly, and confirmed what the size chart suggested. My shirt shipped quickly and it fit perfectly! I’ve worn it over shirts and also under big t shirts. It’s more snug, which is different from my usual jacket but it keeps the pads in place nicely! I would definitely recommend the shirt and the company. Trust the size chart but reach out if you need/want to. They’ll get you right.
